Zinc Perborate

An amorphous, flocculent substance, containing 9.5 per cent, of active oxygen, is prepared by interaction between solutions of sodium perborate and a zinc salt. The same product is also obtained by triturating moist hydrated zinc peroxide with boric acid, or, most effectively, by treating a solution of a zinc salt and boric acid with sodium peroxide.
