Zinc Ionization Energy

The Zinc Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Zinc.
Zn -> Zn+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Zinc is:
ZnN+ -> Zn(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Zn -> Zn1+ = 906.4 kJ/mol = 216.84 Kcal/mol
Zn1+ -> Zn2+ = 1733.3 kJ/mol = 414.67 Kcal/mol
Zn2+ -> Zn3+ = 3832.6 kJ/mol = 916.89 Kcal/mol
Zn3+ -> Zn4+ = 5730 kJ/mol = 1370.81 Kcal/mol
Zn4+ -> Zn5+ = 7970 kJ/mol = 1906.70 Kcal/mol
Zn5+ -> Zn6+ = 10400 kJ/mol = 2488.04 Kcal/mol
Zn6+ -> Zn7+ = 12900 kJ/mol = 3086.12 Kcal/mol
Zn7+ -> Zn8+ = 16800 kJ/mol = 4019.14 Kcal/mol
Zn8+ -> Zn9+ = 19600 kJ/mol = 4689.00 Kcal/mol
Zn9+ -> Zn10+ = 23000 kJ/mol = 5502.39 Kcal/mol
